- ➤ Rapid City Area Schools are facing an ongoing lunch debt problem — board member Christine Stephenson warned the issue is critical. District leaders hope a proposed bill will ease the burden on students soon. Rapid City Journal

- ➤ A WalletHub report ranks South Dakota as the 3rd best state to retire among 50 states. It shows seniors can enjoy affordable living and quality health measures for a safe retirement. KBHB

- ➤ Brett Davis netted his hat trick and rookie goalie DiMatteo earned his first win as the Rush snapped a five-game losing streak with a 6-3 victory over the Utah Grizzlies Sunday at The Monument Ice Arena. They will play Friday at Allen at 6:10 p.m. KBHB
- ➤ Sturgis Scooper boys wrestling team won all four dual matches on Saturday in Pierre and captured first place at the East vs West Duals. The team outperformed competitors + the Scooper girls also placed second at the Chadron Invitational. KBHB
