- ➤ The National Park Service announced fireworks will light up the sky above Mount Rushmore on July 3 to celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary. Tickets must be secured through a lottery running from April 8 to 12 with winners notified on April 14. KBHB
- ➤ Rapid City Parks and Rec will host a job fair on Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for seasonal workers in the community. Rapid City Journal
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Delta Air Lines will offer nonstop weekend flights from Rapid City Regional Airport to Detroit from Aug. 8 to Aug. 16 during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The seasonal service uses 76-seat aircraft to link travelers to a larger Delta network. KBHB
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in South Dakota have jumped 38 cents over the past week to average $3.00 today, with prices ranging from $2.47 to $3.69 plus a spread of $1.22. KBHB

- ➤ The No. 13 Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets won the RMAC Tournament on March 7 and are now the No. 6 seed in the South Central Region. They will face Lubbock Christian on Saturday, March 14 at the Burg Center (Dallas Baptist University campus) in Dallas. KBHB
