- ➤ Cooler weather and possible snow are expected to assist firefighters containing the Qury Fire south of Custer as it burns across an estimated 7,000 acres — with no containment while crews continue burnout and infrared mapping operations amid ongoing evacuations and road closures, and the county has issued a burn ban.
