The Qury wildfire covers 7,200 acres (2 miles southeast of Custer) and is 2 percent contained, with snow slowing firefighters' efforts to control the blaze.

On Sunday, firefighters battled the Qury Fire in Custer as crews worked to secure the 7,200-acre blaze with 2% containment.

Rain + snow slowed mop-up and fireline work while temporary flight restrictions and select road closures remained in effect.
