- ➤ Gas prices in South Dakota rose nearly 20 cents per gallon over the past week, averaging $3.20/g today from a survey of 628 stations and marking a 67.8-cent increase compared to last month. The national average also increased, reflecting higher fuel costs amid global oil supply concerns. KBHB
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ This afternoon, firefighters added containment on the northern section of the Qury Fire and strengthened lines on the east and southeast. They will continue work on the south side tomorrow — preparing for warmer, windy conditions as public closures remain in effect. KBHB

- ➤ Registration is underway for Spring bocce leagues hosted by Rapid City Parks + Recreation Department; residents can sign up now to join these local sports events. Rapid City Journal
