- ➤ South Dakota Farmers Union delegates joined over 190 farmer-rancher voices at the National Farmers Union Convention in New Orleans from March 7-9, where they passed policy aimed at helping family farms face market challenges and rising costs (fertilizer up $200 per ton) while urging support for young producers. - ➤ Belle Fourche ag teacher Austin Bishop is one of eight finalists for the FFA Golden Owl Award honoring South Dakota's top ag educators.
