- ➤ Quinterius Charles Chappelle—a member of Ellsworth air forces—is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Sahela Sangrait on an Air Force base. Rapid City Journal
- ➤ Rapid City police arrested two drivers for DUI on Saturday, March 22—Skeet Grass Rope was pulled over after a red SUV went the wrong way near Columbus Street and Daniel Pelczarski was stopped after his Toyota Sequoia crashed near Kerry Drive with his blood alcohol level nearly four times the legal limit. - ➤ A man's body was found under the I-190 bridge on Monday morning—Rapid City Police are investigating it for suspicious circumstances. Rapid City Journal

- ➤ Rapid City's mayor appointed Braun as the new chief of staff—Braun has worked for the city since January 2021. Rapid City Journal
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Rapid City Rush ended their homestand with a 5-2 win over the Wichita Thunder at The Monument Ice Arena on Sunday; Blake Bennett scored early and the team outshot their opponents while recording their 64th and 65th season points. The team will travel to Tulsa for a three-game series starting Thursday at 7:05 p.m. KBHB
- ➤ South Dakota State erased a double-digit deficit to beat Oklahoma State 74-68 in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament when Madison Mathiowetz scored 17 points in the second half and Brooklyn Meyer added 19 points. The 10th-seeded team will face UConn in the second round. KBHB
