Today the HomeSlice Group launched its free digital newspaper The Rapid City Post—serving as a major local news source for the Black Hills region and partnering with outlets such as KBHB Radio News and Fox Sports Rapid City.

The group will add a printed version, podcasts and premium audio and video content in the future.

Rapid City Police have classified the death of 64-year-old Jerry Evans — found under the I-190 bridge earlier this week — as a homicide following an autopsy that revealed significant blunt-force trauma, and investigators continue gathering evidence from multiple agencies.
