- ➤ Local Black Hills agencies urge residents to act on wildfire safety as conditions arrive earlier than expected, advising everyone to follow tips and prepare for changing weather and fire risks. Rapid City Journal
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Dakota Calamity women's lacrosse team opened their season in Rapid City with a double-header win, beating the Sheridan Mavericks 10-6 and 13-10. The game marked the teams’ first meeting (and only the second time a Wyoming team has played here). KBHB
- ➤ On Saturday, the Sturgis Scoopers improved to 2-0 with a 9-5 win in Spearfish, while Rapid City Stevens and Central recorded wins of 15-0 and 14-4 respectively + Central is set to face Douglas on Sunday. KBHB
- ➤ The Rapid City Rush overcame a 2-0 deficit by scoring four consecutive goals for a 5-4 win on Saturday at Tahoe Blue Event Center — Rico DiMatteo posted 30 saves as the team moved into fifth place in the Mountain Division. KBHB
