CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Rapid City woman, Pam White Butterfly, pleaded not guilty in court Monday to first-degree murder and first-degree attempted murder charges from a February 23 shooting on East New York Street that killed Lenart Brown Eyes and left another man critically injured; she is held on a $2 million bond and is set for a next court appearance on May 15. - ➤ Andrew Hesser, a 50-year-old man from Gordon, Nebraska, was arrested on March 28 in Rapid City on an outstanding Meade County warrant for a burglary at the Valley Market in Piedmont—he faces charges of grand theft, burglary and intentional damage while being suspected in additional crimes across local and Nebraska jurisdictions as he is held in Meade County Jail. - ➤ Rapid City police are looking for a suspect in a homicide on the 400 block of Sixth Street — the man died at the hospital — and officials say the incident was not random, with no ongoing threat to public safety. Rapid City Journal
