- ➤ Rapid City Police arrested Dionte Eagleman, 22, for a fatal stabbing near 6th Street Tuesday night when a man with a stab wound was taken to the hospital and later died—detectives from the RCPD and Pennington County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the case and say there is no ongoing threat to the public. - ➤ A man was arrested in Rapid City on allegations he committed burglaries in several counties in South Dakota and Nebraska — court documents say he was linked to a crime spree. Rapid City Journal

- ➤ Custer State Park shared photos on Facebook showing a mother bison and her baby calf, marking the start of the season. Park officials said visitors should keep a safe distance—so the animals are not disturbed—and they will see more births soon. KELOLAND
