EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Office for Civil Rights terminated its resolution agreement with Rapid City Area Schools that aimed to fix unfair treatment of Native American students after a report last May, leaving school officials surprised and planning next steps. Acting Superintendent Cory Strasser said the district had completed much of the work under the agreement and remains committed to quality education—promising to update the community as further details emerge.
