- ➤ Firefighters celebrated the opening Monday of two state-funded facilities in Rapid City and Hot Springs — one dedicated to a fallen firefighter — after lawmakers allocated $4 million for improved truck, equipment, and training storage. KBHB

- ➤ The Rapid City Stevens Raiders defeated Sturgis 8-6 Monday night at Strong Field by capitalizing on early errors and a strong pitching performance from Austin Flohr while a head coach ejection shifted game momentum — Sturgis will host Spearfish Thursday night at 7 p.m. as weather permits. KBHB
