- ➤ Federal law enforcement agencies arrested 16 suspects in Rapid City and on Pine Ridge Reservation for alleged drug trafficking during Operation Snowy Ridge — a coordinated effort that began on April 15 and ended on April 16. Native Sun News
- ➤ A Rapid City man, 29-year-old Faron Mesteth, was sentenced to 40 years in prison for vehicular homicide after he crashed his car under the influence of meth on Christmas Day 2021 on Highway 44 near Centre Street—killing two people, Richard Fenhaus and Jame Scott Sayler. KBHB
