- ➤ City officials announced that February sales tax receipts climbed 11.4% from last year’s figures, leading to overall collections 7.9% above budget projections + reaching $13.3 million through February. Tourism sales tax receipts also showed gains, up 6.2% compared to the prior year. KBHB
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Rapid City waste collection will change on May 1+ yard waste will now require a subscription while weekly recycling pickups end. Residents are advised to verify details with the local waste management office. Rapid City Journal

- ➤ The Black Hills State University rodeo teams hosted the Will Lantis Yellow Jacket Stampede last weekend at Seven Down Arenas.
