- ➤ The Black Hills State University track & field teams will head north this Saturday for the UMary Last Chance Meet—one of a series including a trip to Bismarck—to try for qualifying spots at nationals in Emporia. The group already holds six NCAA provisional marks this season. KBHB
- ➤ Black Hills State University's Yellow Jackets lost 0-4 to Colorado Mesa Mavericks in Grand Junction on May 2 as late inning runs dashed their postseason hopes, with standout pitchers Kaitlyn Geschwill & Sophia Honse keeping the game close until the end. KBHB
