- ➤ Kianna Healy was crowned Miss South Dakota 2026 at a competition Saturday night in Brookings. The 23-year-old from Hartford won multiple scholarships and will represent the state at Miss America in September. KBHB
- ➤ The Air Force Academy Band will perform a concert as part of its summer tour (Freedom 250) to kick off Rapid City's America 250 celebration, with plans set for the upcoming season. Rapid City Journal

- ➤ The 2026 SDHSAA state track meet ended Saturday at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls, with Sioux Falls Lincoln, Sioux Falls Christian, and Philip winning the boys' title and Rapid City Stevens, Sioux Falls Christian, and Bennet County capturing the girls' championship.
