Ally Formanek was named the new Visit Rapid City CEO and said she will lead efforts to market Rapid City as a top destination for tourism, meetings and sports nationally — using digital and out-of-home ads to draw more visitors.

She served as interim CEO since April 1 and brings almost 30 years of local residency and over 15 years of tourism experience — a background that will guide her strategy for the future.
