- ➤ Rapid City Police and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a homicide that occurred on August 26th near Victoria Lake Road and First Thunder Road after 57-year-old Vernon Selig died from a gunshot wound—officers are searching for his 30-year-old son, Nicolas Selig, who is believed to be armed and dangerous near Highway 16 and Gondola Road.
