- ➤ Stagebarn Middle School in Summerset is hosting a month-long sock drive for veterans as part of the Warm Feet for Warriors project and aims to collect 4,100 pairs, building on nearly last year's total. Student Wyatt Dennis—known for his lemonade stand during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally—and PE teacher Kattie Bland said the drive shows that every pair matters and that donations are accepted throughout October.
