- ➤ The National Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition finished interviews with Native American boarding school survivors in Rapid City as part of a national project—these stories will be collected by the Library of Congress to preserve their history and support healing efforts. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Today, GasBuddy's survey shows South Dakota gas prices increased by 0.7 cents to an average of $2.77 per gallon, with prices ranging from $2.44 to $3.41 per gallon. Nationally, gasoline averaged $2.99 per gallon with a drop of 1.4 cents, & analysts expect prices to adjust as refinery issues continue. KBHB
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Volunteers in the Black Hills are rebuilding beaver dam analogs using local materials to slow water flow and rehydrate the land—efforts that have already led to returning springs and wildlife. Local officials and experts say the project will improve water quality for ranchers and recreation as the natural landscape recovers. KELOLAND

- ➤ Submissions for SDDOT's 6th Snowplow Naming Contest are open through December 12—about 700 entries are received each winter from individuals, classrooms, and businesses. In January, a snowplow in each of the 12 SDDOT regions will be named to promote awareness of winter road safety. KELOLAND
