- ➤ Marty Two Bulls Jr, an indigenous artist who learned from his father's work, is building a community among local artists in Rapid City—he plans to host exhibitions and collaborative events to bring people together. Rapid City Journal
- ➤ About 25 community and tribal representatives met Monday at the Minneluzahan Senior Center to form a coalition aimed at protecting sacred Black Hills sites like Pe Sla from proposed graphite drilling by Pete Lien and Sons and future uranium mining operations — two more STBH Dinner and Info events are scheduled for early December to update on water and community protection plans. - ➤ Feeding South Dakota received a $50,000 donation check from AgriCare on Thursday, which will supply pork products to create tens of thousands of meals statewide in December—this donation comes as the organization prepares its 14th annual Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway at the W.H. - ➤ Timmons Market in Rapid City expanded its Helping Hands program by building 500 food boxes and selling them at cost while matching each purchase with a free donation.
