- ➤ The SDHSAA state volleyball tournaments ended November 22 in Rapid City with Harrisburg winning Class AA, Dakota Valley securing the Class A title, and Chester claiming the Class B crown—each match highlighting strong performances in kills, assists, and digs. - ➤ Officials at the Central States Fairgrounds closed all horse facilities to prevent an equine herpesvirus outbreak, postponing pre-NFR events and planning to reassess conditions after Thanksgiving—Miss Rodeo America will proceed without live horsemanship and the Benny Binion Bucking Horse Sale has been rescheduled for December 5.
