- ➤ The South Dakota Specialty Producers Association invites nominations for the 2025 Specialty Crop Producer of the Year Award, seeking a leader in specialty crop farming. - ➤ Ranchers are using digital marketing to move from local sales to direct-to-consumer platforms, according to Gwen Kitzan of Kitzan Family Farms. She will share tips at the South Dakota Grasslands Coalition event the first weekend in December – hoping to help ranchers boost profits. KBHB
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Nonprofit and cultural organizations in Rapid City are eligible for the 2026 City Arts Investment Fund grant program, which offers part of $100,000 to support artistic projects. Applicants must submit materials to the Rapid City Arts Council by Jan. 22 (11:59 p.m.) while email questions are due by Jan. 15. KBHB
