- ➤ Ketel Thorstenson, the largest accounting firm in the Black Hills, announced a merger with Casper-based Grooms and Harkins that will take effect January 1. The integration will offer expanded accounting services in construction, agriculture, and nonprofit industries to clients in both communities. KBHB
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A GasBuddy survey of 628 stations shows South Dakota gas prices dropped 3.9 cents to $2.62/g today with rates ranging from $2.17 to $3.41/g statewide. Analysts expect the low prices to continue into the new year (absent major disruptions). KBHB
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A tour at the city’s Material Recovery Facility explained what items are recycled and how the process works. The visit offered a closer look at Rapid City’s recycling efforts + waste recovery options. Rapid City Journal
