- ➤ Community leaders and business partners met at Prairie Edge to honor the Lakota Nation Invitational partnership as founder Bryan Brewer announced that the 48th tournament is Rapid City's final event in its current format, with Rapid City Central and Stevens set to join next year (as part of expanded collaboration). - ➤ Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced that the $12B Farmer Bridge Assistance Program will support South Dakota and U.S. farmers facing market losses + USDA will release payment rates at the end of December as farmers must submit correct 2025 acreage by 5 p.m. ET on Dec. 19. KBHB

- ➤ Sanford Health CEO Bill Gassen was named one of Modern Healthcare’s 100 Most Influential People for 2025, marking his fourth year with the honor. He led mergers and announced a $300 million plan for a medical campus in Rapid City (his efforts strengthen local care). Native Sun News
